Experiments in printmaking
I'm between jobs and exploring new fabrication methods to spark creativity. Inspired by my partner's friend Eliza, I started with paper weaving prints:

I enjoyed the tactile, meditative process, though the weaves need tighter execution to achieve my desired polish. I plan to revisit this technique.
Letterpress Collaboration
I partnered with Archie's Press on a letterpress series:

This produced some of my crispest work. The quality paper and soft emboss showcase letterpress's unique characteristics. Originally designed for pen plotters, I'm fascinated how moire patterns transfer across mediums. I'm exploring how the same designs render differently in risograph and screen printing. Eventually, I'd like simultaneous access to multiple printing techniques.
Archival Ink Testing
I've been experimenting with archival inks using an Isograph Technical Pen to test color and durability:

This exploration excites me most. Unlike handwriting pens, the Isograph's technical precision enables repeated layering without paper damage. This unlocks new design possibilities and allows revisiting previous concepts now made feasible.
Art creation thrives on experimentation and enjoyment.
